SPCA Adoptables

For last year’s Paws for a Cause I donated the prize of a pet photography lesson to the people’s choice winner of the SPCA Wild ARC photo contest.  Caspar Davis not only won the people’s choice, he won third in his category with his cute little duckling image.

Caspar and I had a great morning shooting several adoptable dogs, cats, and even a rat at the Victoria branch of the BC SPCA.  Caspar did most of the shooting as we practiced posing our models and played with the lighting. He sent the edited images to the SPCA for use on their website to attract the future forever homes of these lovely fur babies.

I couldn’t resist getting some snaps of the super friendly Casha, fresh from the surgery that removed her abuse-damaged leg. This girl is solid L.O.V.E. and will make her future family very happy.
