Personal Work

This week on the international pet photographer blog circle project, our challenge was to present personal work. Both my dogs have had a health scare in the last few weeks, and it reminded me the brevity of our time with our pets. The dogs are feeling better, and I’m happy to see them both back on their paws!  I’ve also had a health issue that has forced the cancellation of the Dog Days of Summer Mini Sessions this weekend and made it nearly impossible to capture these images of my little monkeys. Have a safe and happy Labour Day long weekend everybody!

Next up let’s get up close and personal with Kansas City pet photographer, Rachel Mason.

Okay, that rope toy is the prettiest one I’ve ever seen – I love those colours! We have rope toys from one end of the house to the other, and none are that nice.

I hope the furkids and yourself are feeling better (or on the way there)!

Hope you are on the mend! You are right – our time with our pets is too short. Thankfully, you take the time to photograph your little monkeys and share them with the world!

I’m glad your babies are feeling better; they are adorable! Hope you’re on the mend yourself!

I’m glad your adorable pups are feeling better. I hope you feel better soon, too! Great shots of them!

Glad your cute pups are feeling better. Hope you are also feeling better.

Melissa, I’ll never get tired of photos of your dogs. They both have such expressive faces and, as usual, you captured them so well! (And I hope you’re feeling better!)
