This week on the international pet photographer blog circle our theme is Our Town. What makes beautiful Victoria BC famous? It’s a tourist destination for visitors from around the globe, and there are many notable landmarks many of which are More British than Britain. Buddy and I did a quick tour over the chilly (and so devoid of people, highly unusual!) weekend and decided to share this picture of The Empress Hotel – or should I say EmBuddy Hotel? Now designated a National Historic Site of Canada, the original building dates back to 1908. It was designed by a young superstar architect Francis Rattenbury (whose ghost supposedly haunts the hotel!) who also designed the nearby BC Parliament Buildings and the Steamship Terminal. Whether you go for a new year’s day brunch in the Crystal Ballroom, cocktails at the Bengal Room, afternoon High Tea on the veranda, or a relaxing pedicure in the world-famous Willow Stream Spa, The Empress is not just for tourists. And it’s pet friendly!
Next along the circle we head down the coast to Spotty Nose Pet Photography in Los Angeles, CA
