Our international pet photography blog circle gives a nod to the genre of our craft known as “Street Photography” this week. Street is a slice-of-life style of candid photography often captured blind (without using the camera’s viewfinder) and facilitated by the use of small cameras. When I think of street photography, I think of high contrast, slightly gritty, black and white images in an urban setting where the subject is unaware of the camera or the photographer. Such was the case for young Naomi who had her pet portrait session in the heart of Chinatown this week. Naomi also happens to be available for adoption through Dog Bless Rescue Partners!
Next let’s hit the streets with Dana Cubbage, Charleston SC lifestyle pet photographer.
I love this wide angle shot. I’m a sucker for awesome distortion and this is beautiful!
Oh, what a sweetie! Really great shot of her too.
Thank you ladies – I agree, she has the best ears!
Naomi’s friggin’ cute. I love her urban look in this urban setting!
Love her ears! I hope she finds the perfect home. Beautiful photo of her!
