Sun Flare is our theme for the pet photography blog circle this week. This is a technique involving pointing the camera toward the sun, resulting in the sun’s rays distorting the image with a hazy light beam quality. Sun flare often comes along with lens flare, which are circles and spots of colour that can occur even without the light source directly in the frame. Normally photographers go out of their way to avoid these results, but once in a while deliberate use gives an image an ethereal feel.
Please visit Nashville Pet Photographer, Kelly Coyle to see Sweet Silver Photography’s flare, then follow the links around the circle.
Man, I’m such a sucker for sun flare. Great job!
Nice flares!! Awesome work!
The first one is gorgeous! It gives the image such a sense of mystery because you can’t get all the details so it leaves your mind to make up what you can’t see.
lovely images, that second shot makes me want to reach out and stroke her back 🙂
